Design or Staging Consultations
How It Works
Basically depending on how much information you want, we start by talking about what
you want. With larger projects I come up with design ideas, put the information in a book for
you and you go on your way to get all the work done in your own time frame with or without
my assistance in a fallow up meeting. With smaller projects you can make your own list and
work from that on your own.
Step One
We have a minimal one hour design consultation.
*What your project needs
*What is your style
*What needs to be done and what can wait
*What you like and dislike about the project
*What you envision
*What your open to
*The scope of the project
*Room measurements
* Etc…
Step Two
I put together a Design Book that outlines ideas for your project. This takes 4-7 hours on the
average. With one or more complete room schemes for you to review. Including:
* Floor Plan
* Colors
* Fabrics
* Textiles
* Lighting
* Art / Decorative
* Drawings
* List of vendors
* Suggestions
Step Three
We have a second one hour meeting and that we go through the Design Book I've made for
you. At this point we cover topics like:
* What works for your project
* What changes need to be made
* What materials will be needed for the project and who and where to get them from.
* The scope of work that is needed
* Obtaining Bids
* Time line of the project
* Determining the additional help your going to need to complete your project.
STOP
Here you may choose to take the information and complete it with one or more additional
consultations.
Or we can work together to complete the project. It’s really up to you and your budget.
