Chase Creative Design How It Works
With Paint Consultation or Decorative Painting
Ruth will supply you with a free estimate and rough sketch after your first meeting. Before any painting takes place
you will be given a drawing and or a sample board along with a final estimate.
In order to give you an idea on costs, each project is based on time and materials. A bid will determine the time it will
take to complete the job. On average they run between $600 - $800 per day. Murals can take longer depending on the
complexity of the design and size of the room (4-9 days) . While stenciling patterns depend on the square footage of the
wall. (2-7 days) A $75 sample board is credited to the final bill and is non-refundable should the clients cancel the job.

First Meeting
Is to discuss ideas and view the room or wall to be painted. While some clients have a clear vision of what they want,
others have no idea and leave that up to Ruth to provide them with suggestions. Once the theme or design is
determined, a rough sketch is drawn up. No charge for the first meeting. Unless it is determined as a Design
Consultation.

Design Consultation
As per the first meeting Ruth will provide client with design options, colors swatches, reference material ( such as
books, magazines, photos) and general scope of the project. Expectations of the project will be discussed as well as
potential dates and deadlines. The Design Consultation will be billed by the hour and usually takes 1hour sometimes
more.

Estimate & Designs & Sample Board (s)
A ballpark estimate will be provided 2-5 days after your Consultation (if you choose a wall treatment like faux finish).
If you are happy with the ideas and the price quote then a  sample board will be made to show the client the colors
and appearance of the design. (a non-refundable $75 is due and will be applied to the total cost when project is
complete) . A $200 non-refundable deposit is then due (This price may very.) to secure  hold the dates of the job.  (firm
or tentative).
At this time, changes, if any, will be made to the designs or price of the project to the clients satisfaction.  The $200
deposit is then applied toward the total cost of the project as well as the $75 non-refundable fee for each sample board.

Final Step

50% of the total cost is due on the first day painting begins. If there are any changes made to the project once painting
has begun, there will be additional charges or credits. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project.
